Dear Ms. Bradley:
Thank you for your submission of "The Choices Witch Make Us" to
PublishAmerica. Due to the use of your pen name in correspondence,
the individual who accepted this work was unaware that you are a
previously published author with us. This changes the process.
We like the book, and it does appear to meet our editorial standards.
However, book publishing is a commercial business like any other,
therefore we must aspire to making a profit on the publisher's
investment. Based on the sales performance of "One of You", currently
we cannot yet offer a contract for this new work until we have seen
increased sales.
Once we have received firm orders for at least 75 more copies of "One
of You" at sales discounts that may go as deep as 50 percent, we will
be happy to also take a chance on your latest work.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
Acquisitions Department

~~They send me this after I've already been waiting a month for the contract. This isn't my fault, I TOLD them I was already an author through PA, but he sent me a contract anyways, although it had my pen name on it instead of my real name, they still sent it, doesn't that count for anything?
SO... I need to sell 75 more copies of "One of You", and soon. I'm not happy. PLEASE HELP!
