Angela Rae's Books and More...

Hello!  I just want to say that the Bridgewater Book Festival, even being my first festival, was AWESOME!  I did get one order for my book, "The Choices Witch Make Us".  *YEAH!*

I may have only been there for a little while, but my youngest sister was there, and she helped me out. She's outgoing to my being shy, and she "corrected" me when I did something I probably shouldn't have...  That's okay!

There were so many people there, and I shared a book with a Patty Kreamer...Not quite sure who she is, but everyone seems to love her books.

Anyways, they had a kids tent and all kinds of stuff there, and speakers all through the day, and Borders Express was there and they sold tons of books.
I put pictures in the photo album!

My book signing at the mall went well, I sold a book!  *YEAH!*  That's so awesome!  And the best part was that my little sister was there to watch it!

And it's my 25th Birthday, I'm exhausted, and now I'm waiting for my other sister to get home with a birthday cake for me!  *YEAH!*

It's been a good day, I already told Val I totally want to be included in next years!

That's if for now.

I got the first person who wants to put an ad in my book.  He's a landscaper in Beaver County, but wtf, he's willing to travel as far as ohio or wv to do his thing, so who cares!  That's 15 dollars he's gonna put a full page ad in!  YEAH!

So I figured out how to explain it! $15 is a FULL PAGE ad, $10 is a half page, and $4 is a quarter page!

I will be here from 9-11:30, before my book signing at Borders Express at the Beaver Valley Mall.

I thought about it for a while, I really did.  I decided...

TO HELL WITH PUBLISHAMERICA!

Lulu.com is willing to publish my book, so why not give them a chance?

therefore we must aspire to making a profit on the publisher's
investment. Based on the sales performance of "One of You", currently
we cannot yet offer a contract for this new work until we have seen
increased sales.

Once we have received firm orders for at least 75 more copies of "One
of You" at sales discounts that may go as deep as 50 percent, we will
be happy to also take a chance on your latest work.

~~They send me this after I've already been waiting a month for the contract.  This isn't my fault, I TOLD them I was already an author through PA, but he sent me a contract anyways, although it had my pen name on it instead of my real name, they still sent it, doesn't that count for anything?

SO...  I need to sell 75 more copies of "One of You", and soon.  I'm not happy.  PLEASE HELP!

Had a GREAT signing today!  I sold 2 books!  Yeah!
