Angela Rae's Books and More...

Hello everybody!  I know I haven't been on here for a while, and it's almost March and I haven't gotten very far on my next book, so IDK, it may be closer to summer before I actually get it published.  But that's okay, I've been really busy doing a ton of other things.  I will tell you that I am NO LONGER accepting checks when I do a festival b/c I did have a customer from a the Bridgewater Book Festivals' check BOUNCE and not only did I NOT get the $ for the books, I got charged a $40 Return Check Fee from my bank, AND the woman will NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS OR LETTERS!  Seriously!

Anyways, we live, we learn.  Whatever.  I no longer accept checks, only cash.

So, this book I'm working on right now, I've got my editor from "The Choices Witch Make Us" helping me, so I'm hoping for some really good ideas coming my way from her.  Maybe she can help me get Travis, Nolan and Vicki outta the woods and back from the Strike they've been conducting in my head.

Oh!  NEW MOON is on DVD March 20th! You KNOW I'll be waiting in line for my copy!  Also ECLIPSE is in theaters June 30th!!!  That'll be such an AWESOME Birthday/Anniversary present for me!  Oh yeah!  Especially with my hubby actually ENJOYING the movies!  Yes! My HUBBY! Mr. Redneck/Horrorflick/Non-Romance HIMSELF! I'm so happy!

Alright my friends, I will have to get back to my Vaca Planning now!  I will keep everyone updated, I promise!!!

Today was the Bridgewater Book Festival!  I had some very nice people come chat with me, and I sold 9 books!  For an unknown, that's pretty good!

I hope that the girls that purchased my books will leave me some feedback.

Next week is the Apple Dumpling Festival, and I hope to do just as good there!

I haven't had a book signing since August.  I should probably have another one here real soon, but I don't know if I want to go to the same Borders Express that I've been going to.  I'm trying to find other outlets to go to for my signings, but it's a lot harder than I thought.

For only having 3 months to plan an entire festival, the 2008 Apple Dumpling Festival was a success!  Well, at least it was for me.  I sold 3 copies of "The Choices Witch Make Us".... One of the customers was my Pastor!   Then this one girl sat and read the whole thing at her booth while she was with her church.  She said she almost cried. 

B.E. Taylor is currently doing his concert, right this minute.  I couldn't stay b/c someone had to stay home with my grandmother and Beanie, and since I feel like crap right now anyways, I figured it's just as well I come home.

Sept 20th is getting closer and closer, so if you haven't gotten your BE Taylor Concert Tickets yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???

I will be in a booth with fellow author Jennifer Ruprecht (sp?!).  She wrote a story all about crayons!  Isn't that cool?  Of course, it's a childrens' book, but so what, it's cute!
